Healthy Moves offers safe, reliable, and wheelchair-accessible transportation throughout Ocean and Monmouth counties—and we go the extra mile to meet individual needs, including occasional travel outside of the listed areas. We are committed to supporting individuals with disabilities in staying connected, active, and engaged in their communities, upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Typical Rates
Wheelchair transportation begins at $150 round-trip
Ambulatory with assistance transportation begins at $100 round-trip
TRANSPORTATION AIDE
$25/hour (minimum 2 hours)

Healthy Moves offers affordable mobility equipment rentals to support your movement, recovery, and independence. Whether you need short-term assistance or longer-term solutions, we provide reliable equipment to help you stay active and mobile with ease.

MAVO TRAINING
Healthy Moves offers flexible, comprehensive Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) certification taught by an experienced, MAVO-certified instructor. Classes are typically held on the weekend at a location in Ocean County. Other locations available but subject to travel fee. Classes are highly customizable, and our instructor can come to you or meet at a designated location. MAVO Initial Certification $150
Our Initial Certification Course is an 8-hour, in-person class that includes hands-on physical skills training and a multiple-choice written exam. Upon successful completion, participants receive a temporary certification within 24 hours (valid for 30 days) until their permanent card arrives via email. This certification is valid for 2 years and is offered at $150.
MAVO Renewal Certification $135
Our Renewal Certification Course is a 4-hour in-person class, also including the physical skills component and written exam, ensuring all operators maintain up-to-date knowledge and safety skills. Renewal certification is valid for 2 years and is offered at $135.
